BUSHMASTER A3 20" RIFLE
Like the A2 model, this rifle features the full heavy barrel - chrome lined in both bore and chamber for optimum durability and accuracy. The 20" barrel - also available in a 24" length, is manganese phosphate coated for complete protection against exterior corrosion or rust. The A3 designation means that upper receiver has been created from a different forging - one that incorporates a slotted rail along the entire top length of the receiver. Often called a “Flat-top”, this upper receiver's machined mounting rail will allow easy attachment of most any scope or optic device. As in the other A2 types, this upper receiver also includes an integral cartridge case deflector, a last round bolt hold open feature to alert the shooter of an empty magazine. The A3 Removable Carry Handle shown here ships with the A3 rifle, and is also available as an optional extra. It allows carry handle convenience and adds a 1/2 Minute of Adjustment Sight to any “flat-top” style upper receiver. The hard anodize finished aluminum forging includes two sturdy thumbscrews to clamp it solidly on in seconds with no loss of zero. The XM15 E2S A3 20" Rifle is shipped in a Bushmaster lockable case, complete with 10 round magazine, instructional manual and carrying sling. Click here to visit Gunshopfinder.com's Bushmaster page.
