The boresights fit in the chamber of your rifle, shotgun or handgun, and project a beam to the exact spot where your gun is pointing. Operation of the boresighter is simple. Unscrew the top of the bore sight and insert the three-battery sleeve. Screw the top of the boresight back on, and the laser is turned on. Insert the boresighter into the chamber (or into the magazine, if you wish), and close the action. You'll see the laser beam projecting from your barrel. Sightmark laser bore sights are made from top-quality brass, and come with a lifetime warranty and convenient carrying case. They're powered by three AG3 hearing aid style batteries (included) which provide a full hour of illumination. The boresighter projects a dot that's 2 inches wide at 100 yards, and is accurate from 15 yards out to 100 yards. Sightmark makes 20 different bore sighters that fit over 40 different calibers.
