"Incredibly lightweight, even loaded. S&W up to its usual high quality standard. Great for concealed carry or backup, whole lot of fire power at close quarters. That being said, DA trigger pull is too long and a bit heavy. I purchased mine used and it came with a beautiful wood grip that I have since replaced with a pachmayr. I mentioned it was lightweight, it took only two shots for this pistol to get its nickname...Thumbbreaker, believe the name speaks volumes. The pachmayr improved on the recoil pain along with 38 ammo if you plan on shooting very many rounds. Not for the faint of heart but if you want a very powerful and dependable cc/backup you should give the 340PD serious consideration."
