The model 22A is one of Smith and Wesson's line of .22 LR target pistols, designed for the serious competitor. The first thing you notice about the 22A is the wooden target grips with the distinctive thumb rest. The grips offer you a perfect hold, and a natural point. It has adjustable target sights, with a patridge style front sight. The target trigger is tuned for performance, and serrated to give you a positive feel. The frame is aluminum and the slide is stainless steel, giving you a rust-resistant pistol. It's finished in matte black for eliminating reflections. If you're a competitive shooter, or just a serious plinker, this one's for you.

Primary use: target shooting

"This is a nice pistol very acurate very reliable.One complaint I might have is the overall thickness of the wood target grips.I might suggest trimming them down some with maybe finger grips."
