"Mine is 1976 model. The only thing I hake replaced is the trigger spring. It is still the best 22 cal. handgun I have owned.

"An excellent pistol. S&W have had some quality control problem recently. But (after some badgering) they fixed my new Model 41. My old Model 41 has been having some trouble, but after 30 something years, not too surprising. I'm not a big fan of the factory grips though."

"The Model 41 smith is very accurate and can handle any ammo you throw at it. a little expensive but worth the extra money . i have a model 202 high standard also very good. but would choose the 41 over it."
