SPRINGFIELD ARMORY LOADED CHAMPION LIGHTWEIGHT OD GREEN/BLACK 1911 PISTOL
This Springfield Armory Loaded Champion 1911 has an olive drab green frame and black slide, giving it a military look. The slide and frame are alloy for light weight. It's fitted with Pearce rubber grips for a firm hold on the gun.
Its 4" bull barrel is stainless. The shorter barrel makes this an ideal pistol for carry. The low profile sights are an assist for carry, with rounded edges that won't get caught on clothing. Three tritium dots on the sights allow you to pick up your target quickly, even in low light.
The pistol has an ambidextrous safety, allowing left handed shooters, and competition shooters doing weak hand drills, quick access to the safety lever. The match grade trigger features an overtravel adjusting screw to allow you to set trigger travel to your personal taste, and has a trigger pull of 5 to 6 pounds, just perfect for a combat pistol.
Weighing just 30 ounces, this is a gun that will ride comfortably in your holster all day. It comes with two magazines.
Every Springfield Armory 1911 pistol is equipped with a trigger locking device. A key inserted into a hole in the rear grip strap positively locks the trigger, making it impossible for a child to accidentally discharge the gun. This system gives you a choice as to whether or not you need to lock your gun. Unlike trigger locks on other brands of guns, the keyhole is small, so that it doesn't ruin the looks of the gun.

Springfield Armory Loaded Champion Lightweight 1911 Reviews:

"As received the gun had 12+ pound trigger pull. The gun shot 24 inches high at 25 yards with 230 grain FMJ Winchester white box ammo. It was returned to Springfield for warranty repair. They had the gun 2 months. According to repair invoice they replaced everything except slide, frame, & grips. The returned gun had 4.5 pound trigger pull and shot dead-on with Winchester 230 grain FMJ white box ammo. Having a self-defense, CCW specialized gun that had a 12 lb trigger pull and shot 2 feet high at 25 yards was a disgrace to the manufacturer, not to mention them being criminally and financially responsible for collateral damage from use."

"Only mistake about the gun is I let my wife shoot it, and now she wants one. Only thing is she wants a pink one so it will have to be an STI Elektra, as they make a pink one for the ladies."
